Site Research Interests

For the last few years we have been collecting pre and post CHOP data from medical students following our 6-week elective course

Research Projects

For the coming year, we will be looking at 2016-2018 retrospective data for medical students attending our Culinary Medicine elective course.

In 2019, we will also query medical students pre/post dietary compliance to the Mediterranean Diet (Mediterranean Diet score sheet).

Funding Mechanisms

Funding for our program/course is through the TCU Department of Nutritional Sciences. The course is taught in the department’s laboratory kitchens
