The Goldring Center for Culinary Medicine is strategically located within The ReFresh Project, a Community Health Hub located in Midcity, New Orleans. The building, located on North Broad Street at Bienville Avenue houses nine organizations working to achieve health equity in the surrounding neighborhoods. The ReFresh Project was established in the former Schweggman’s grocery store which was abandoned since Hurricane Katrina. The 60,000 square foot building was restored and partner tenants were chosen to help address health disparities in the area. The Goldring Center for Culinary Medicine is proud to be part of the ReFresh Project’s mission by offering our free community cooking classes.
