We are hosting the Fresh and Local Market Match Cooking Classes through a partnership with the Crescent City Farmer’s Market and Top Box Foods Louisiana as a way to promote the Market Match program for SNAP shoppers. We hope that attendees will enjoy learning more about the bounty of local, seasonal produce that can be purchased through these vendors with SNAP benefits. In these hands-on classes, we will feature new produce items seasonally and attendees learn how to pick the freshest fruits and vegetables along with some simple, inexpensive, tasty ways to prepare them!
